Nokia revealed the Lumia 928 and the Lumia 925 back-to-back in May this year. It’s not even been a week before the official launch of Lumia 928 that the price has dropped to $49.99 on U.S. online retailers.
The Lumia 928, which is exclusive to Verizon, carries a price tag of $99.99 on a two-year contract from the carrier. However, online retailers like RadioShack and Wirefly are selling the Windows Phone 8 (WP8) powered handset for only $49.99 on a two-year contract. However, both the retailers ship the handset in seven to ten business days.

The Lumia 928 is currently one of the most popular WP8 handsets around but the smartphone is just a minor update to the Lumia 928 exclusive to ATT.
