Android updates have a long and seemingly dedicated history of joining the party late – the HTC Thunderbolt Ice Cream Sandwich update apparently not being an example to break with tradition. Having been forced to make do with Android Gingerbread ever since the Thunderbolt rolled out in 2011, HTC devotees can now celebrate the fact that they’re being upgraded to a slightly less outdated version of Android.
